The group is comprised of military heroes who have been injured or disabled while serving our country. PATRIOT ANGLERS is a non-profit organization which strives to help veterans in their recovery through fly fishing. Sgt. Lew Duckwall organizes these outings to include residents of North Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. Lodging, meals, fishing licenses, and equipment are all provided at NO COST to the veteran. During the 3-day outing, the veteran is assisted by an experienced fly fisherman who will introduce them to the serenity of the fly fishing sport. Evenings are spent in fellowship with other fly fishermen and veterans as well as those who are providing their lodging and/or meals.
